On Thursday 26 January 2023, the very first presentation of the European Master Ther Act Training took place at the Regional Directorate of Pôle emploi. Our partners, professionals in the field of training, employment and Europe were present.
This event was an opportunity to present the Master The Act training as well as the new professional profile of the Creative Mentor for Employability (CME); European certification resulting from the six training modules.
We invited our partners and collaborators, we accompanied them on the online platform and the detailed presentation of the training modules with the European certification of Creative Mentor for Employability at the end. This morning was an opportunity for our CME team trained in Matera, in Italia to testify on the benefits of this training and the importance of the skills developed during the training.
Illustrated as an almost infinite toolbox, Master The Act provides training in coaching jobseekers from the beginning of the process through to entry into the labour market. It supports candidates in their decision making by using creative and dramatisation techniques, based on theatre, to stimulate self-awareness.
A good listener with direct knowledge of the labour market, the furtures CME can use the MACT methodology and its theatrical methods to stimulate self-awareness.
The International team of the ARA Regional Directorate, together with the three employment counsellors trained by CME in Italy as part of the project, led the presentation and juggled theory and practice.
This was an opportunity to present the international aspect and the European projects supported by Pôle emploi Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The various external partners present (DREETS, ANEPA Tremplin, CMA AURA, Académie de Lyon, etc.) were convinced by this European training tool, which is free and accessible online.
This first event marks the starting point of the regional deployment plan of the MACT Training.
Indeed, this was followed by the MACT Methodology initiation day, our National Pilot at Pôle emploi on Monday 27 February 2023.
On this day, the same team of Creative Mentors for Employability thought about the best training day to show the richness of this European training. Sixteen professionals from the employment and theatre sectors were convinced during the first presentation in january and took part in group and/or individual activities from the e-learning manual.
We tried to link theory and practice, highlighting the skills, the soft-skills developed during each exercise, strong and interesting feedback times which led to the creation of a real close-knit group of future Creative Mentors for Employability.
Of course, theatre and its practice was at the centre of this training day. We led the employment professionals to take a step back from the codes of their daily activity to be able to let go and to really understand the open-mindedness necessary to appreciate this European certification.
The Creative Mentors for Employability trainees underlined the innovative character of this training and perceived the usefulness of the different modules as additional skills that could accompany them in their professional practice, a real added value for the people they work with on a daily basis.
