Privacy Policy for Platform Members

This Privacy Policy describes how the registration form of the web platform www.mastertheact.eu is managed in respect of the processing of personal data of the users that decide to register. This Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code.

Data Controller

The “Data Controller” of the data is Consorzio Materahub Industrie Culturali e Creative | P.IVA – 01228200778 .

Purpose of data processing

User Data are collected to enable the Data Controller for the following purposes:

  • providing the MACT Online Course;
  • responding to a contact request from the User.

The Data Controller shall not use the data provided for purposes other than those related to the service, among those listed above, to which the user concerned has subscribed, or only within the limits indicated from time to time in any further specific information accompanying the different and particular service requested by the user. To obtain further detailed information on the purposes of the processing and the Personal Data concretely relevant for each purpose, the User may refer to the relevant sections of this document.

Types of data collected

1. Registration at the MACT Online Course

By filling in the registration form, the user’s data are automatically entered into a database created for the purpose of enabling the “Master the act” team to provide the MACT Online Course. The personal data required are First Name, Last Name, and Email address.

The Personal Data are freely provided by the User. Users in doubt as to which Data are mandatory are encouraged to contact the Data Controller.

2. Data of children under 16

If you are under 16 years of age, you may not provide us with any personal data. This action may only be carried out by an adult who is legally authorised to also provide the data of the minor. We accept no liability for any false statements you provide. Should we become aware of any untruthful statements, we will proceed with the immediate deletion of any personal data acquired.

3. Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of one’s own personal data to make requests by e-mail entails the subsequent acquisition by the Data Controller of any other personal data that will be processed exclusively to reply to the request or to provide the service.

4. Personal Data of third parties

The User assumes responsibility for the Personal Data of third parties published or shared through this Platform and guarantees that he or she has the right to communicate or disseminate it, releasing the Owner from any liability towards third parties.

The Data Controller takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data. All the data collected by this platform will be processed by electronic or telematic means, in relation to the purposes for which the data has been collected and in compliance with the security regulations in force, for the purposes indicated above or specified from time to time in any further information presented to the user.
Personal data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes for which they are collected. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other subjects involved in the organisation of this Project (administrative, sales, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external subjects (such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) may have access to the Data, also appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Data Controller. The updated list of Data Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.

Legal basis of data processing

The Controller processes Personal Data relating to the User if one of the following conditions is met

  • the User has given consent for one or more specific purposes;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User and/or the performance of pre-contractual measures;
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority vested in the Controller;
  • processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Controller or of third parties.

However, it is always possible to request the Controller to clarify the concrete legal basis of each processing and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on law, required by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract.

Location of data processing

The Data are processed at the Data Controller’s premises and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. The User’s Personal Data may be transferred to a country other than the one where the User is located. For further information, please contact the Data Controller.

Timing of data processing

The Data are processed for the time necessary to perform the service requested by the User, or required by the purposes described in this document, and the User may always request the interruption of the Processing or the deletion of the Data. Therefore: Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User or necessary to respond to a request from the User will be retained until the performance of such contract or request is completed. Personal Data collected for purposes attributable to the legitimate interest of the Data Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller. When the processing is based on the User’s consent, the Data Controller may keep the Personal Data longer until such consent is revoked. Moreover, the Controller may be obliged to keep the Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority. At the end of the retention period, the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the end of this period, the right of access, deletion, rectification and the right to Data portability can no longer be exercised.

By filling in the Registration Form, the User consents to the use of the data provided in order to respond to requests for information or of any other nature indicated by this Policy.

This privacy policy is drafted on the basis of multiple legislative orders, including Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Unless otherwise specified, this privacy policy relates exclusively to the data transmitted via the mastertheact.eu Platform.
