Did you already try the MACT online course?

As you probably already know, the mission of the MACT Project is to support the employability of unemployed people and job seekers using theatrical techniques and methodologies.

To do this, we have been working for almost two years on developing a methodology that can help professionals in the employment or theatre sector train and coach job seekers in reaching their professional goals.

This methodology is now available to everyone on this web platform!

We have created and launched an online course to learn this methodology and become a Creative Mentor for Employability.

The Creative Mentor for Employability is a new professional figure able to help job seekers in their professional development through innovative, non-formal techniques from artistic theatre training.

The course is completely free and available in six different languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Polish and Romanian. The course consists of six training modules of about two hours each. It includes video lectures, exercises and a handbook containing in-depth material and more than sixty activities for unemployed persons and job seekers.

At the end of the course, and on passing the final quizzes for each module, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and the title of Creative Mentor for Employability.

More than seventy people across Europe have completed the course and interacted with each other in the community section.

Twenty-four of them have been selected to attend the MACT Training Week that will take place in Matera from the 24th to the 28th of October.

The received comments are positive and enthusiastic:

One of the most interesting courses I have ever done, full of tools also useful in other contexts. It was been a pleasure to see the work of the most representative organizations for work and theatre working together on an inclusive European project. I’m really thankful for the hours and to the people involved in the project, they worked to compendiate some of the best tools to make you help others, and help also yourself. Excellent work.” (Sebastiano)

(…)” (Anna)

Excellent this project. Necessary in this post-pandemic and EPTs context, from the body and sensitivity.Congratulations on the formulation and materials. The proposed activities at the end of the manual are very useful. It interests me, it resonates with me and I hope to be useful, in this personal and community journey. It is what I do and does in our associations and volunteers, without giving it this name and form. Education through art, advising and accompanying the social inclusion of unemployed people, through their employability in the creative industry (…)” (Susana)
